Search LiverTox, the NIH (NIDDK) reference on drug-induced liver injury: one chapter per drug, herbal or dietary supplement (about 1,200) and per drug class, each with its hepatotoxicity likelihood score (A: well established cause, B: highly likely, C: probable, D: possible, E: unlikely, E*: unproven but suspected; [HD] when only at high doses), the pattern, latency and frequency of liver injury, mechanism, outcome and management, case reports and an annotated bibliography, with the chapter's last-update date. Copied weekly from NLM's open access archive. A likelihood score grades the published evidence, not an incidence, and LiverTox is not FDA labeling: cite the chapter and its last-update date.

## Query parameters

- `query` string, required: A drug, herbal or class name, or words about the injury, e.g. "amiodarone", "green tea extract" or "cholestatic hepatitis checkpoint inhibitors". Quoted phrases and OR work.
- `kind` string[]: Keep only "scored" chapters (an agent with a likelihood score) or "unscored" ones (mostly drug-class overviews).
- `limit` integer: Chapters to return, default 6.
- `offset` integer: Skip this many results (for paging), default 0.

## Other responses
