# Read one LactMed record

`GET /v1/sources/lactmed/records/{recordId}`

Read one LactMed record by its id (the id search_lactmed gives, e.g. "LM330"), or by the drug's exact name: revision date, CAS number, drug class and other names, then the summary of use during lactation, drug levels (maternal and infant), effects in breastfed infants, effects on lactation and breastmilk, alternate drugs to consider (with their record ids) and the numbered references with PMIDs, and NLM's citation for the record.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is not valid: an unknown parameter or an argument the source refuses.
- `404`: No such source or record.
- `429`: Rate limited; retry after the Retry-After header.
- `503`: The source cannot answer from Assyro's copy right now.
