Search the consolidated English text of five EU acts, article by article and annex by annex: the Medical Devices Regulation (EU) 2017/745, the IVD Regulation (EU) 2017/746, Directive 2001/83/EC (medicinal products for human use), Regulation (EC) No 726/2004 (centralised procedure, EMA) and the Clinical Trials Regulation (EU) No 536/2014 (mdr = MDR (EU) 2017/745; ivdr = IVDR (EU) 2017/746; dir-2001-83 = Directive 2001/83/EC; reg-726-2004 = Regulation (EC) No 726/2004; ctr-536-2014 = CTR (EU) No 536/2014). Indexed weekly from EUR-Lex; each result gives the article or annex, its chapter, and the date of the consolidated version. Consolidated texts are for information only: only the Official Journal of the European Union is authentic, so state the consolidation date when you cite one. This is not EU guidance (MDCG, EMA guidelines), not implementing or delegated acts, and not national law.

## Query parameters

- `query` string, required: Words to find in the provisions, e.g. "periodic safety update report" or "Article 61 clinical evaluation". Quoted phrases and OR work.
- `act` 'mdr' | 'ivdr' | 'dir-2001-83' | 'reg-726-2004' | 'ctr-536-2014': Keep only one act: mdr = MDR (EU) 2017/745; ivdr = IVDR (EU) 2017/746; dir-2001-83 = Directive 2001/83/EC; reg-726-2004 = Regulation (EC) No 726/2004; ctr-536-2014 = CTR (EU) No 536/2014.
- `limit` integer: Provisions to return, default 8.
- `offset` integer: Skip this many results (for paging), default 0.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is not valid: an unknown parameter or an argument the source refuses.
- `404`: No such source or record.
- `429`: Rate limited; retry after the Retry-After header.
- `503`: The source cannot answer from Assyro's copy right now.
