# Read one EMA record

`GET /v1/sources/ema/records/{recordId}`

Read one record from the European Medicines Agency data files by the id search_ema returned (e.g. "EMEA/H/C/005752" for a medicine, "EU/3/18/2020" for an orphan designation, "doc:75343" for a guideline document): every fact EMA publishes for it and its text (a medicine's full therapeutic indication, a page summary). Data is as of the last sync of EMA's files; the EMA page link is the authority to cite. For EPAR and guideline documents the PDF text is not included.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is not valid: an unknown parameter or an argument the source refuses.
- `404`: No such source or record.
- `429`: Rate limited; retry after the Retry-After header.
- `503`: The source cannot answer from Assyro's copy right now.
