# Read one DailyMed record

`GET /v1/sources/dailymed/records/{recordId}`

Read one current DailyMed drug label by set id: products, NDCs, labeler and version, then the boxed warning, indications and usage, dosage and administration, dosage forms and strengths, contraindications, warnings and precautions, adverse reactions and drug interactions as plain text, in that order (a long label is cut at the end, so adverse reactions and interactions are the first to go; the full label is at the record url). With sections, it returns those sections instead (each with its subsections), e.g. ["pregnancy", "lactation"], ["clinical_pharmacology"] or ["overdosage"]. Cite it by set id and version. The label is what the labeler submitted, not an FDA review.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is not valid: an unknown parameter or an argument the source refuses.
- `404`: No such source or record.
- `429`: Rate limited; retry after the Retry-After header.
- `503`: The source cannot answer from Assyro's copy right now.
