# Verify a signed document

`GET /v1/documents/{documentSignatureHash}/verify`

Verify a document by its signature hash (found on a signed document) and return its certification details. Always returns `200`: when the hash is not found or the document is not signed, `is_valid` is `false`, the other fields are `null`, and `message` explains why. Public endpoint.

Verification result

- object — Standard success wrapper. Operations add their own `data`.
  - `status` integer — HTTP status code, mirrored in the body.
  - `message` string — Human-readable message; empty on success.
  - `data` DocumentVerification — The verification result for a document looked up by signature hash. When not verified, most fields are null and `is_valid` is false.
    - `hash` string
    - `id` string, nullable
    - `status` string, nullable
    - `page_count` string, nullable
    - `signer_count` string, nullable
    - `completed_count` integer, nullable
    - `completed_at` string, date-time, nullable
    - `verified_at` string, date-time
    - `is_valid` boolean
    - `message` string — Reason when not valid.

## Other responses

- `500` — Unexpected server error.
