# Create temporary SSH access

`POST /v1/sessions/{id}/ssh`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://assemble-vms-api.fly.dev`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Request an expiring connection command for the same session VM. SSH processes operate outside managed-command coordination.

## Request body

  - `expiresInMinutes` integer

## Response `201`

Temporary SSH grant; the command contains a credential.

- SshAccess
  - `id` string, uuid, required
  - `command` string, required: Temporary connection command containing access credentials. Keep it out of shared logs.
  - `expiresAt` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `default`: Structured API error. HTTP 400 invalid request, 401 authentication, 404 missing resource, 409 conflict, 413 size limit, 429 quota, or 503 unavailable.
