# List Projects In Workspace

`GET /workspaces/{workspace_id}/projects`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.aspect.inc`
- URL: `https://api.aspect.inc/workspaces/{workspace_id}/projects`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

List all projects in a workspace that the user can access.

- Workspace owners: see ALL projects
- Workspace members: see projects where they have access (excludes no_access)
- Member_limited users: see only projects with explicit permission (excludes no_access)

Only active projects are returned unless the status filter says otherwise.

## Path parameters

- `workspace_id` string, uuid, required

## Query parameters

- `status` 'active' | 'inactive' | 'all': Filter for project listings by active status.

- ProjectResponse[]
  - `id` string, uuid, required: Project ID
  - `name` string, required: Project name
  - `root_directory_id` string, uuid, required: The project's top-level directory. Use it as `parent_id` to list the project's contents.
  - `trash_directory_id` string, uuid, required: Trash directory ID - deleted assets are moved here
  - `default_role` 'full_access' | 'editor' | 'commenter' | 'downloader' | 'viewer' | 'no_access', required: Role on a project.
  - `is_active` boolean, required: Whether the project is active. Inactive projects are hidden from listing and discovery surfaces.
  - `num_assets` integer, required: Number of assets in project
  - `size_bytes` integer, required: Total size of assets in bytes
  - `duration` number, required: Total duration in seconds
  - `created_by_user_id` string, uuid, required: ID of the user that created the project
  - `created` string, date-time, required: Creation timestamp
  - `updated` string, date-time, required: Last update timestamp
