# Get transcription

`GET /transcription`

## Request

Get transcription paragraphs and words for an asset

## Query parameters

- `asset_id` string, uuid, required: The ID of the asset to get transcription for

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- TranscriptionResponse: Response model for transcription data
  - `paragraphs` TranscriptionParagraph[]: Transcription paragraph boundaries
    - `text` string, required: Paragraph text
    - `start_time` number, required: Start time in seconds
    - `end_time` number, required: End time in seconds
    - `speaker` integer, nullable: Speaker number, starting at 0. The same number is the same voice within this asset.
  - `words` TranscriptionWord[]: Detailed transcription words
    - `text` string, required: Word text
    - `start_time` number, required: Start time in seconds
    - `end_time` number, required: End time in seconds
    - `confidence` number, nullable: Confidence score between 0.0 and 1.0
    - `speaker` integer, nullable: Speaker number, starting at 0. The same number is the same voice within this asset.
