# Export Transcription

`GET /transcription/export`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.aspect.inc`
- URL: `https://api.aspect.inc/transcription/export`

Export an asset's transcript as a downloadable VTT/SRT/TXT/MD file

## Query parameters

- `asset_id` string, uuid, required: The ID of the asset to export the transcript for
- `export_format` 'vtt' | 'srt' | 'txt' | 'md', required: File format for the exported transcript.

## Response `200`

The transcript file

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
