# Get Generation Stats

`GET /metadata/attributes/stats`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.aspect.inc`
- URL: `https://api.aspect.inc/metadata/attributes/stats`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

AI generation progress for each attribute that has generation turned on. A run is done when `pending` is 0.

## Query parameters

- `project_id` string, uuid, required: Project ID
- `attribute_ids` string[], nullable: Only return stats for these attributes

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- MetadataGenerationStatsResponse: API response schema for the per-attribute stats read.
  - `columns` CellColumnStats[], required: One entry per AI-generated attribute
    - `column_id` string, uuid, required: Attribute ID
    - `pending` integer, required: Assets with generation scheduled or in progress
    - `coverage` CellCoverage: Counts over the assets an attribute watches: `eligible` is `run` + `failed` + `not_run`. An asset that keeps its value after a failed regeneration counts as run.
      - `eligible` integer, required: Assets the watch covers
      - `run` integer, required: Watched assets with a value, empty values included
      - `failed` integer, required: Watched assets with no value whose last generation failed
      - `not_run` integer, required: Watched assets with no value and no failed generation
