# Delete Attribute

`DELETE /metadata/attributes/{attribute_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.aspect.inc`

Delete a project-specific metadata attribute.

Cannot delete global attributes (source IN (SYSTEM, ASSET), project_id=null).

## Path parameters

- `attribute_id` string, uuid, required: Attribute ID
