# Move Items

`POST /fs-items/move`

## Request

Move assets and directories into a directory.

## Request body

- FsItemsMoveRequest: API request schema for moving filesystem items to a new parent directory
  - `asset_ids` string[], nullable: List of asset IDs to move
  - `directory_ids` string[], nullable: List of directory IDs to move
  - `symlink_ids` string[], nullable: List of symlink IDs to move
  - `destination_directory_id` string, uuid, required: ID of the destination parent directory

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- FsItemsMoveResponse: API response schema for moving filesystem items
  - `moved_asset_count` integer, required: Number of assets successfully moved
  - `moved_directory_count` integer, required: Number of directories successfully moved
  - `moved_symlink_count` integer: Number of symlinks successfully moved
