# Move To Trash

`POST /fs-items/move-to-trash`

## Request

Move items to the project trash.

## Request body

- FsItemsMoveToTrashRequest: API request schema for moving filesystem items to the project trash. Supply the project_id and the item IDs to trash. Name conflicts in the trash are resolved automatically with a parenthesized number.
  - `project_id` string, uuid, required: Project ID the items belong to
  - `asset_ids` string[], nullable: List of asset IDs to move to trash
  - `directory_ids` string[], nullable: List of directory IDs to move to trash
  - `symlink_ids` string[], nullable: List of symlink IDs to move to trash

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- FsItemsMoveResponse: API response schema for moving filesystem items
  - `moved_asset_count` integer, required: Number of assets successfully moved
  - `moved_directory_count` integer, required: Number of directories successfully moved
  - `moved_symlink_count` integer: Number of symlinks successfully moved
