# Get Directory Details

`GET /directories/{directory_id}/details`

Get directory details including stats and creator info

## Path parameters

- `directory_id` string, uuid, required

Successful Response

- DirectoryDetailsResponse: API response schema for getting directory details with stats and creator info
  - `symlink` SymlinkInfo: Where a symlink points.
    - `target_id` string, uuid, nullable: ID of the asset or directory the symlink points to. Null when it can't be followed; `status` says why.
    - `status` 'resolved' | 'dangling' | 'permission_denied' | 'external', required
  - `id` string, uuid, required: Directory ID
  - `name` string, required: Directory name
  - `project_id` string, uuid, required: ID of the project this directory belongs to
  - `parent_id` string, uuid, required: ID of the parent resource (directory or project)
  - `created_by_user_id` string, uuid, required: ID of the user that created the directory
  - `created` string, date-time, required: Creation timestamp
  - `updated` string, date-time, required: Last update timestamp
  - `content_modified_at` string, date-time, required: When the directory's contents last changed: a direct child was created, deleted, renamed, or moved in or out
  - `num_assets` integer, required: Total number of assets in directory tree
  - `size_bytes` integer, required: Total size in bytes of all assets in directory tree
  - `duration` number, required: Total duration in seconds of all assets in directory tree
