# Confirm Upload

`POST /attachments/{attachment_id}/confirm`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.aspect.inc`
- URL: `https://api.aspect.inc/attachments/{attachment_id}/confirm`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Confirm that an attachment has been uploaded.

Must be called after the file is uploaded to the upload URL.
Returns the attachment with a download URL.

## Path parameters

- `attachment_id` string, uuid, required: The ID of the attachment to confirm

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- AttachmentResponse: An attachment with a temporary download URL; url and url_expires_at are null until the upload is confirmed.
  - `id` string, uuid, required: Resource identifier
  - `url` string, nullable: Temporary download URL
  - `url_expires_at` string, date-time, nullable: When the URL expires
  - `filename` string, required: Original filename
  - `mime_type` string, required: MIME type of the file
  - `size_bytes` integer, required: File size in bytes
  - `uploaded` boolean, required: Whether the file has been uploaded
  - `created` string, date-time, required: Created timestamp
