SADE SATI — Saturn's seven and a half years, the most-asked question in Indian astrology: when sidereal Saturn transits the 12th, 1st and 2nd signs from the natal Moon, the native is in Sade Sati's three ~2½-year phases (rising, peak, setting); Saturn in the 4th or 8th is the lesser dhaiyya (Kantaka / Ashtama Shani). TWO-LAYER VERIFICATION: the rule is uniform across the jyotish literature, and the ENGINE is anchored at load to the PUBLISHED Lahiri ingress dates of Saturn — sidereal Aquarius 17 Jan 2023, Pisces 29 Mar 2025, the 2027 Aries dip (entry ~3 June, retro back ~20 October) and the FINAL Aries entry 23 Feb 2028 — each double-sourced and reproduced within two days by this project's own astronomy-engine ephemeris with the same Lahiri ayanamsa the qizheng and Kumbh Mela engines trust. RETROGRADE HONESTY: Saturn's dips re-cross sign boundaries, and each contiguous stint is reported as its own interval, never smoothed — the 2022 Aquarius dip and the 2027 Aries dip are themselves test anchors. Takes the Moon sign directly or computes it from birth data — and WITHOUT a birth time the engine DECIDES whether the missing time matters (natalMoon.timeSensitivity): the Moon sign is certified when it holds all day (~60% of dates), or both signs and the flip minute are named when it changes. Returns the phase with houses-from-Moon, the current stint's dates, and when the next Sade Sati begins for clear signs. Served as the tradition describes it — a testing, maturing passage — never as prediction. Indian becomes 25. Pure compute, no LLM.
