The traditional Arabic Parts / Hellenistic Lots (الأجزاء / κλῆροι) — the comprehensive Lots calculator the catalogue was missing (the Hellenistic engine casts only Fortune, Spirit, Eros & Necessity, and the natal chart has none). A Lot is a sensitive degree cast by the arc Ascendant + (A − B) carrying a topic. From birth date, time and place it returns the SEVEN HERMETIC LOTS (Fortune/body & fortune, Spirit/mind & action, Eros/love, Necessity/constraint, Courage, Victory, Nemesis) plus the standard medieval ARABIC PARTS (Marriage, Children, Father, Mother, Siblings, Sickness, Open Enemies, Real Estate, Faith, Friends, the 8th-place/Death, and Substance), each with its exact formula, whole-sign house, and topic. SECT is load-bearing and determined rigorously from the Sun's altitude: most Lots reverse their two terms by night (the Valens/Hellenistic convention — Ptolemy's non-reversed Fortune is disclosed as the alternative), and the derived lots are built from the already-sect-reversed Fortune/Spirit. Where medieval sources genuinely disagree (Marriage, Death, Substance) the dominant al-Bīrūnī/Bonatti form is used and the divergence disclosed per lot. GOLD-LOCKED to a hand-computed synthetic chart across all seven Hermetic Lots in both sects (day & night). Tropical, whole-sign houses, on the shared Meeus ephemeris. Honest: exact arithmetic on the chart, but a symbolic reflective technique — the Lot of Death marks the 8th-place TOPIC, not death-timing; no lifespan, no medical/financial/legal advice.
