CHANKILLO, THE THIRTEEN TOWERS — the oldest solar observatory in the Americas: on a desert ridge in Peru’s Casma valley, a culture whose name is lost built thirteen stone towers (~300 BCE) as an ARTIFICIAL TOOTHED HORIZON — from the western observing point they span almost exactly the sun’s annual RISING arc, from the eastern point its SETTING arc: solstice to solstice, every day of the year readable to within two or three days from where the sun broke the teeth (Ghezzi & Ruggles, Science 2007; UNESCO 2021) — two millennia before Inca Cusco’s sun pillars. THE SPAN LAW computed live: at 9.56°S the rising arc runs ~66.4° to ~113.9° — 47–48°, asserted — twelve ~4° gaps between thirteen teeth. THE UNEVEN-CALENDAR LAW, the standstill made stone: near the equinox the sun clears a gap in about a week; approaching the solstices it lingers a MONTH in the end gaps (both crossing times computed, the ratio asserted) — months equal in angle, wildly unequal in days. THE MIRROR LAW: the setting arc reflects the rising arc within a degree (asserted) — one ridge, morning and evening service. Any date returns its azimuths and its tower/gap position, served as geometric reconstruction — the excavators own the tower names, and the builders’ only surviving sentence is the ridge itself. Andean becomes three. Pure compute and served archaeology, no LLM.
