# Liquidation by Exchange

`GET /gateway/v1/market/liquidation/exchange-list`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.asksurf.ai`
- URL: `https://api.asksurf.ai/gateway/v1/market/liquidation/exchange-list`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns liquidation breakdown by exchange in a single ranked snapshot.

**Included fields:** total, long, and short volumes in USD.

**Filters:** `symbol` and `time_range` (`1h`, `4h`, `12h`, `24h`).

**No pagination and no `interval`** — this endpoint does NOT accept `limit`, `offset`, or `interval`. Returns the full exchange list in one response.

## Query parameters

- `symbol` string: Token ticker symbol like `BTC` or `ETH`
- `time_range` '1h' | '4h' | '12h' | '24h': Window to aggregate over for the snapshot: `1h`, `4h`, `12h`, or `24h`. Returns a single snapshot (not a time-series). This endpoint uses `time_range` only — it does NOT accept `interval`.
- `sort_by` 'liquidation_usd' | 'long_liquidation_usd' | 'short_liquidation_usd': Field to sort results by
- `order` 'asc' | 'desc': Sort order

    - `exchange` string, required: Exchange name like `Binance` or `OKX`. `All` = aggregate across all exchanges
    - `liquidation_usd` number, double, required: Total liquidation volume (USD)
    - `long_liquidation_usd` number, double, required: Long-side liquidation volume (USD)
    - `short_liquidation_usd` number, double, required: Short-side liquidation volume (USD)
  - `meta` ObjectResponseMeta, required
    - `cached` boolean, required: Whether this response was served from cache
    - `credits_used` integer, required: Credits deducted for this request
    - `empty_reason` string: Hint explaining why the data array is empty, when applicable
