# Issue RS256 access token

`POST /api/auth/access-token`

## Request

- Auth: API key in header `X-AscendKit-Public-Key` and HTTP bearer

Issues a short-lived RS256 JWT for the authenticated end user. Use the JWKS endpoint to verify the token server-side.
