# Register new organization

`POST /orgs`

Register new organization

## Request body

- OrganizationSummary
  - `name` string, required
  - `display_name` string
  - `description` string
  - `home_url` string, uri
  - `logo_image_id` string

## Response `201`

The request has succeeded and has led to the creation of a resource

## Other responses

- `400`: The request sent was not valid
- `401`: Valid authentication credentials not provided
- `429`: The user has sent too many requests in a given amount of time
- `500`: The server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request
