# Get the caller-scoped durable submission status

`GET /anchor/{publicId}/submission-status`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.arkova.ai/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.arkova.ai/api/v1/anchor/{publicId}/submission-status`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Returns queue or instant processing and credit state for an anchor owned by this exact API-key actor and organization scope. Missing and cross-tenant records both return 404. Private tags, internal identifiers, debit reasons, and metadata are never returned.

  - `credits_exempt` boolean, nullable: True when the durable Instant claim used an actor usage exemption; credit_state is null because no credit was spent or refunded.
  - `credit_state` 'pending' | 'spent' | 'refunded', nullable, required
  - `instant_status` 'QUEUED' | 'PROCESSING' | 'NEEDS_CREDIT' | 'RETRYABLE' | 'HELD' | 'SUBMITTED' | 'FAILED', nullable, required
  - `retryable` boolean, required: True when explicit instant resubmission may re-arm a never-debited NEEDS_CREDIT intent, or the same signed-in user has restored access after an authorization refusal. The atomic retry operation rechecks permission and debit/journal history.
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Authentication required
- `404`: Submission absent or outside the caller tenant
- `503`: API not enabled (feature flag off)
