# Re-embed credentials in batch

`POST /ai/embed/batch`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Re-generates embeddings for up to 100 credentials owned by the caller's org in one request. Costs 1 AI credit per credential embedded.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Authentication required
- `402`: Insufficient AI credits (`insufficient_credits`) — the whole batch was refused, nothing charged
- `403`: Insufficient permissions
- `503`: Either the API is not enabled (feature flag off), or AI credit accounting could not be confirmed (`credit_system_unavailable`: the credit RPC was contended or unavailable). Nothing was charged and no embedding was kept. Retryable — honour the `Retry-After` header.
