# Email provider settings

`GET /api/v1/inboxes/smtp/presets`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.argorant.com`
- URL: `https://app.argorant.com/api/v1/inboxes/smtp/presets`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The server names, ports and security of common email providers (Zoho, Fastmail, Yahoo, iCloud, IONOS, Titan, GoDaddy, Namecheap and others). Send a key as `preset` when you test or connect a mailbox and leave the server fields empty. `hint` says what to do at the provider first, for example making an app password.

- MailboxPreset: Server settings of a common email provider.
  - `key` string: Send it as preset.
  - `label` string: The provider's name.
  - `smtp_host` string: Server for sending. Empty for other.
  - `smtp_port` integer: Port for sending.
  - `smtp_secure` string: ssl, starttls or none. Presets send on 587 with starttls.
  - `imap_host` string: Server for reading replies. Empty for other.
  - `imap_port` integer: Port for reading replies.
  - `imap_secure` string: ssl, starttls or none.
  - `hint` string, nullable: What to do first at this provider, such as making an app password.

## Other responses

- `401`: 401 Unauthorized. `unauthorized` when the API key is missing, wrong or revoked.
- `403`: 403 Forbidden. `scope_missing` when the key lacks argorant:manage_lists.
- `429`: 429 Too many requests. `rate_limited` when too many requests this minute.
