# DELETE /v2/me/trader-discovery-dismissals/{trader_profile_id}

`DELETE /v2/me/trader-discovery-dismissals/{trader_profile_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.arbital.xyz` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.arbital.xyz/v2/me/trader-discovery-dismissals/{trader_profile_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Remove dismissal for an external trader in Suggested traders for the authenticated user. Does not change Watching or the other discovery modes. Requires an empty request: no body or query parameters. Returns the resulting dismissal state; PUT sets is_dismissed=true and DELETE sets it to false. PUT returns 404 for an unknown external trader or 409 at the dismissal limit of 1000 profiles per user. DELETE is idempotent, including after the external identity is removed; missing preferences configuration returns 501 without retry instructions, budget exhaustion returns 429, and transient failures return 503. All responses are private, no-store.
