# Register one of your Reason Network teams

`POST /v3/network/teams`

## Request

## Request body

- object
  - `team_id` string, required: The team's id, as the engine prints it.
  - `team_name` string, required: The team's name.
  - `link` string, required: The team's current link (`https://reasonmachines.com/network/join/#rn1-…`).
  - `own_copy` boolean: This computer's relay keeping Reason's copy of its own link: the link the account's directory offers changes only to this one, with the same secret, in place of one this computer made or one whose maker isn't on the team; never to another secret.

## Response `200`

{ team_id, team_name, updated_at }; the link is stored as https://reasonmachines.com/network/join/#<ticket> and never returned.

## Other responses

- `400`: A missing field, a link without a team ticket, or a team_id that isn't the link's team.
- `401`: Missing, invalid, or expired key.
- `403`: Not the Reason CLI; (`link_mismatch`) the account has the team with another link and this computer isn't on it; (`team_not_this_sign_in`) a sign-in's login registering a network other than its own sign-in's; or (`workspace_network`) a relay's own copy, with an ordinary login, of a team new to the account that a relay in one of the account's workspaces reports as that workspace's network.
- `409`: The account already has the most teams it may register.
- `429`: Too many requests. Retry after the number of seconds in the `Retry-After` response header.
