# Get a Reason Network proof for this computer

`POST /v3/network/proof`

## Request

## Request body

- object
  - `endpoint` string, required: This computer's engine endpoint id, exactly as `reason-network endpoint` prints it.
  - `name` string: A name extending the account's own (`lars-t`, `lars2`), when its own is taken on the team by another verified account.

## Response `200`

{ proof, name, expires_at }

## Other responses

- `400`: No endpoint, or a name that doesn't extend the account's own.
- `401`: Missing, invalid, or expired key.
- `403`: Not the Reason CLI, or an endpoint other than the one this login's sign-in was for (`endpoint_not_signed_in`).
- `429`: Too many requests. Retry after the number of seconds in the `Retry-After` response header.
- `500`: Proof signing is not configured on this deployment (`proof_signing_unconfigured`).
- `502`: Proof signing is briefly unavailable (`proof_signing_unavailable`); retry.
