# request AI Gateway access

`POST /llm_gateway_configurations/access_request`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.aptible.com`
- URL: `https://api.aptible.com/llm_gateway_configurations/access_request`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Records an organization's interest in an AI Gateway trial. Grants nothing:
access is decided by a human afterwards, so a success response means the
request was recorded, not that the gateway is usable. Available only while
self-service enrollment is disabled; while it is enabled this returns 404
and the organization enrolls itself instead.

- `no_embed` boolean

- `204`: organization is already enrolled, so no request was recorded
- `default`: Error response. Often a 4xx or 5xx status code
