# Languages

`GET /languages`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://public-api.apptweak.com/api/public/apptweak`
- URL: `https://public-api.apptweak.com/api/public/apptweak/languages`
- Auth: API key in header `x-apptweak-key`

Get the list of language and country codes for a given store and optionally a list of countries. Indeed, Apple and Google have some slight differences in terms of stores. The language codes are AppTweak's own, not always ISO (`us` is US English, `sp` is US Spanish); the same pairs are on the <a href="https://developers.apptweak.com/reference/country-codes#countries" target="_blank"><b>Supported Countries &amp; Languages</b></a> page. <br/><br/> <b>Price</b> <table> <thead><tr><th>Datapoint</th><th>Description</th><th>Credits/request</th></tr></thead> <tbody> <tr><td><b>-</b></td><td>List of the language and country pairs the store supports, each with AppTweak's language code</td><td>1</td></tr> </tbody> </table> <br/><br/> <b>Default language</b> <br/><br/> For endpoints that have a language field as query parameter, the default language of the country will be used if the field is left empty. To find out which language is considered as the default one, you can refer to the boolean field `default` in the response of this endpoint: for the country Switzerland the default language is German.

## Query parameters

- `store` 'ios' | 'android'
- `countries` string

## Response `200`

Successful response.

- object
  - `result` object[]
    - `country_code` string
    - `language_code` string
    - `default` boolean
  - `metadata` ResponseMetadata: Standard response envelope: the request as the API parsed it, the credits actually charged (`cost`), and what the call could have cost had every datapoint been available (`max_credit_cost`). Every endpoint of this API returns it unchanged.
    - `request` object
      - `path` string: The path that was called.
      - `params` object, nullable: The query as the API parsed it, with defaults applied.
      - `cost` integer: Credits actually charged for this call.
      - `max_credit_cost` integer: Credits the call could have cost if every datapoint requested had been available.
      - `status` integer: HTTP status of the response.
    - `response` object, nullable: Endpoint-specific notes; null when there are none.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized. Unknown or missing API token.
- `403`: Forbidden. Not enough credits to perform the request.
- `422`: Validation error. Returned when `store` is not one of the supported stores, or when `countries` contains a country code that is not available for that store.
