# Upload and link PDF file to product

`POST /products/v1/resources/file/uploadAndLink`

Uploads a PDF file and links it to a specific product as documentation or resource material. PDF files can be configured for visibility (public or reseller-only) and can have custom names and identifiers. Commonly used for user manuals, installation guides, terms of service, and other product documentation.

  - `productRefId` string, required: Product reference ID to link the PDF file to
  - `locale` string, required: Locale for the PDF file (ISO 639-1 language code with optional country code)
  - `file` string, binary, required: PDF file to upload
  - `name` string, required: Display name for the uploaded PDF file
  - `onlyVisibleToResellers` string: Whether the PDF should only be visible to resellers (true/false)
  - `externalResourceRefId` string: External reference ID for the uploaded PDF resource

## Response `201`

PDF file uploaded and linked successfully

- `401`: Unauthorized - Authentication required
- `403`: Forbidden - Insufficient permissions
