# Population Data

`GET /v1/population`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.apiverve.com`
- URL: `https://api.apiverve.com/v1/population`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Get population data for a specific country. Returns latest data by default, or data for a specific year if specified.

## Query parameters

- `country` string, required
- `year` integer

## Response `200`

Successful Response

  - `status` string: status
  - `error` string: error
  - `data` object: data

## Other responses

- `401`: Your request was not authorized, or your API Key was invalid
- `404`: Requested resource was not found
- `500`: A server error has occurred, try again later
