# Domain and IP Pinger

`POST /v1/pinger`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.apiverve.com`
- URL: `https://api.apiverve.com/v1/pinger`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Pinger is a simple tool for checking if a URL is up. It returns a boolean value indicating whether the URL is up or not.

## Request body

- object
  - `host` string, required: The host name or public IP that you want to ping
  - `timeout` integer: The timeout for the ping request in milliseconds
  - `roundTrips` integer: How many pings to send before averaging the round-trip time

## Response `200`

Successful Response

  - `status` string: status
  - `error` string: error
  - `data` object: data

## Other responses

- `401`: Your request was not authorized, or your API Key was invalid
- `404`: Requested resource was not found
- `500`: A server error has occurred, try again later
