# Data Masking

`POST /v1/datamasking`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.apiverve.com`

Detect and mask sensitive information in text

## Request body

- object
  - `text` string, required: The text containing sensitive data to mask
  - `types` string: Array of data types to mask (default: all types)

## Response `200`

Successful Response

  - `error` string: error
  - `data` object: data

## Other responses

- `401`: Your request was not authorized, or your API Key was invalid
- `404`: Requested resource was not found
- `500`: A server error has occurred, try again later
