# Search people

`GET /people`

## Request

Search for people (statutory body members, stakeholders) across all organizations by name. Uses trigram similarity for fuzzy matching — handles typos and partial names.

**Paid plans only.** On the free plan this endpoint answers `403`. Who runs one given company stays available on every plan at `/organizations/{cin}/people`.

Results are grouped by person: each result contains the person's name and a list of all their organizational affiliations (roles across different companies).

    - `person_name` string: Full name of the person
    - `person_name_normalized` string: Normalized name used for matching (lowercase, no diacritics)
    - `organizations` PersonOrgAffiliation[]: All organizational affiliations for this person
      - `organization_id` integer: Organization ID
      - `country_code` 'SK' | 'CZ': Country the organization belongs to.
      - `organization_ico` string: Organization CIN
      - `organization_name` string: Organization name
      - `person_name` string: Person name
      - `person_given_names` string, nullable: Given (first) names
      - `person_family_names` string, nullable: Family (last) names
      - `role_type` 'statutory_body' | 'stakeholder': Role type
      - `role_description` string: Role title (e.g. konateľ, člen predstavenstva)
      - `valid_from` string, date-time: Start date of the role. A timestamp at midnight UTC (`2018-03-02T00:00:00Z`); only the date part carries meaning.
      - `valid_to` string, date-time: End date; absent while current. A timestamp at midnight UTC (`2018-03-02T00:00:00Z`); only the date part carries meaning.
      - `is_current` boolean: Whether the role is currently active
  - `count` integer: Number of distinct people in this page
  - `limit` integer: Limit used
  - `offset` integer: Offset used
  - `has_more` boolean: Whether more results exist beyond this page

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
