# Get one consumer

`GET /apiops/projects/{projectName}/consumers/{consumerKey}`

The consumer addressed by its consumer key, with its ipList, role names and metadata; no secret material is ever included. A secret metadata entry carries no value: sending the list back on PUT stores that entry empty unless the value is sent again.
