# Search YouTube

`GET /v1/youtube/search`

## Request

Videos matching a query, with what you need to choose one: title, channel, length, views, publish date, licence (YouTube standard or Creative Commons), whether captions exist. Filter by length, licence, captions, language, country, date or channel. Give a result's `url` to POST /v1/ai/text as media and the model watches the video in place (moments with timestamps, a summary, a script). Nothing is downloaded. To cut or dub a video you need the file: your own videos (YouTube Studio → download → POST /v1/studio/uploads) or Creative Commons ones, with the credit line on screen. Dubbing into another language: /skills/full-dub-video.md. A vertical reel of it (or a commentary on your own footage when you have no licence): /skills/full-youtube-reel.md.

- `q` string, required: What to look for — any language
- `limit` integer
- `order` 'relevance' | 'date' | 'views' | 'rating'
- `region` string: Country code, e.g. IL
- `license` 'any' | 'creative-commons': creative-commons = videos their owners released under CC BY (reusable with the credit line)
- `captions` 'any' | 'yes': yes = only videos with captions
- `duration` 'any' | 'short' | 'medium' | 'long': short < 4 min · medium 4–20 min · long > 20 min
- `language` string: Prefer results in this language (he, en, ar, ru…)
- `channel_id` string: Only this channel
- `published_after` string: ISO date — only newer videos
