# Lip-sync a video to new audio

`POST /v1/video/lipsync`

## Request

Replaces the speech of a video with your audio (a recording, a dub, a voice-over) and redraws the mouth to match. `precision` (the default, the best) or `speed`. Asynchronous. Needs your rights / consent declaration (`consent`).

**Billing:** Per second of the synced video, by mode (precision, the default / speed). Failed jobs are not charged. · **Rate limit:** 10/min · **Asynchronous**

  - `mode` 'speed' | 'precision': precision (the default) = frame-accurate, the best · speed = faster and cheaper, rougher
  - `title` string: Your name for this job (shown in your library)
  - `consent` object: The rights / consent declaration for this likeness (or send consent_id)
    - `basis` 'own' | 'consent' | 'licensed': own = it is you / your content · consent = the person gave explicit permission · licensed = you hold the rights to this content
    - `locale` 'he' | 'en' | 'ru' | 'uk': Language the statement was shown in
    - `subject` 'self' | 'other': self = your own face / voice / video · other = another person who agreed
    - `accepted` true, required: You accept the consent statement for this scope (GET the text in the docs or the dashboard)
    - `subject_name` string: Required for `other`: the person's full name
  - `audio_url` string, uri, required: The new speech (mp3 / wav) — your recording, a voice-over from /v1/ai/voice or /v1/voices/speech
  - `video_url` string, uri, required: The original video (mp4 / webm)
  - `consent_id` string: A consent you recorded before (the dashboard records one when you tick the box)
  - `keep_format` boolean: Keep the source's resolution and bitrate
  - `fit_to_audio` boolean: Let the result's length follow the new audio
  - `remove_music` boolean: Remove the background music from the result
  - `enhance_speech` boolean: Clean up the speech audio
  - `duration_seconds` number: The source's length if you know it (only for the estimate; the charge uses the real length)
