# Cut a product out of its photo — estimate

`POST /v1/studio/cutout/estimate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://apihub.co.il`

Price the request without executing it. Same body as `POST /v1/studio/cutout`.

## Request body

- object
  - `crop` boolean: Crop the result to the product, plus `padding`
  - `mask` boolean: Also return the mask: a black-and-white PNG (white = the product) at `cutout.mask_url`
  - `format` 'png' | 'jpg': png = transparent (the default without a background); jpg = smaller (the default with a background; needs one)
  - `padding` number: With `crop`: room around the product, as a share of its larger side
  - `image_url` string, uri, required: Public URL of the product photo (JPEG, PNG or WebP) — or the `url` of a previous render
  - `background` union: A new background: a colour (#RRGGBB) or a picture's URL (fitted to cover the frame). Absent = transparent
