# Reply to a profile comment — estimate

`POST /v1/social/profiles/{profile_id}/comments/estimate`

Price the request without executing it. Same body as `POST /v1/social/profiles/{profile_id}/comments`.

## Path parameters

- `profile_id` string, required: Profile ID (hashid)

## Request body

- object: Payload for replying to an existing review. Top-level comments cannot be authored — parent_id is required.
  - `body` string, required: Reply body. (The legacy text parameter is still accepted as an alias.)
  - `parent_id` string, required: Postproxy ID or external ID of the review being replied to
