# Health check endpoint

`GET /api/health`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.apier.no`
- URL: `https://www.apier.no/api/health`
- Auth: none required

Returns the service status and current server timestamp. This endpoint is used by external uptime monitoring (Betterstack). It is intentionally outside the /v1/ namespace as an infrastructure endpoint that must remain stable across API version bumps.

## Response `200`

Service is healthy.

  - `timestamp` string, date-time, required: Current server time in ISO 8601 UTC.
