# YouTube Video Comments

`GET /v1/youtube/comments`

## Request

Get comments (comment threads) from a YouTube video. Returns each comment's text, author, author channel, like count, reply count, publication date, last-updated date, a direct link, and preview replies. Supports sorting by most recent or relevance, and fetching up to 20 pages in a single call.

**Price:** $0.005 per page. **Free tier:** 50 requests/month.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - missing or invalid parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized - invalid or missing API key
- `402`: Free tier used up for this endpoint and no payment method on file (`payment_required`).
- `403`: Account blocked after a failed payment (`account_blocked`).
- `404`: Video not found, private, or unavailable
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded or too many concurrent requests
- `500`: Internal server error
- `502`: Temporary failure retrieving YouTube data. Please retry shortly.
- `503`: Service temporarily unavailable. Please retry shortly.
- `504`: The request timed out
