# Search YouTube Channels

`GET /v1/youtube/channels`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://apidirect.io`

- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Search for YouTube channels by keyword. Returns channel ID, channel name, description, subscriber count (formatted like "1.14K" or "6.44M"), thumbnail URL, and channel link. Supports fetching up to 20 pages in a single call.

**Price:** $0.005 per page. **Free tier:** 50 requests/month.

- SearchYoutubeChannelsResponse: Inferred from a live response. Any field can be null or absent, and new fields may be added at any time.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request: missing or invalid parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized: invalid or missing API key
- `402`: Free tier used up for this endpoint and no payment method on file (`payment_required`).
- `403`: Account blocked after a failed payment (`account_blocked`).
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded or too many concurrent requests
- `500`: Internal server error
- `502`: Temporary failure retrieving YouTube data. Please retry shortly.
- `503`: Service temporarily unavailable. Please retry shortly.
- `504`: The request timed out
