# Search Trustpilot Categories

`GET /v1/trustpilot/categories`

Search Trustpilot categories by keyword to find category IDs at any level of the taxonomy.

**Price:** $0.005 per request. **Free tier:** 50 requests/month.

Successful response

- SearchTrustpilotCategoriesResponse: Inferred from a live response. Any field can be null or absent, and new fields may be added at any time.
  - `categories` object[], nullable
    - `category_id` string, nullable
    - `name` string, nullable
  - `count` number, nullable
  - `query` string, nullable

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request: missing or invalid parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized: invalid or missing API key
- `402`: Free tier used up for this endpoint and no payment method on file (`payment_required`).
- `403`: Account blocked after a failed payment (`account_blocked`).
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded or too many concurrent requests
- `500`: Internal server error
- `502`: Temporary failure retrieving Trustpilot data. Please retry shortly.
- `503`: Service temporarily unavailable. Please retry shortly.
- `504`: The request timed out
