# Search News Articles

`GET /v1/news/articles`

## Request

Search for news articles from worldwide sources by keyword. Returns the article headline, URL, snippet, publication time in UTC, authors, photo and thumbnail URLs, and the source name, URL, favicon, and domain. Supports filtering by publication time, source, country, and language. The response also includes the requested limit and a count of the articles actually returned.

**Price:** $0.008 per request. **Free tier:** 50 requests/month.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request: missing or invalid parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized: invalid or missing API key
- `402`: Free tier used up for this endpoint and no payment method on file (`payment_required`).
- `403`: Account blocked after a failed payment (`account_blocked`).
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded or too many concurrent requests
- `500`: Internal server error
- `502`: Temporary failure retrieving news data. Please retry shortly.
- `503`: Service temporarily unavailable. Please retry shortly.
- `504`: The request timed out
