# Search Facebook Locations

`GET /v1/facebook/locations`

## Request

Resolve a place name (city, region, or country) to Facebook location IDs. Use the returned id as the location_id parameter on Search Posts to scope results to a place.

**Price:** $0.004 per request. **Free tier:** 50 requests/month.

Successful response

- SearchFacebookLocationsResponse: Inferred from a live response. Any field can be null or absent, and new fields may be added at any time.
  - `count` number, nullable
  - `results` object[], nullable
    - `id` string, nullable
    - `label` string, nullable
    - `timezone` string, nullable

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request: missing or invalid parameter
- `401`: Unauthorized: invalid or missing API key
- `402`: Free tier used up for this endpoint and no payment method on file (`payment_required`).
- `403`: Account blocked after a failed payment (`account_blocked`).
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded, or more than 10 concurrent requests to this endpoint
- `500`: Internal server error
- `502`: Temporary failure retrieving Facebook data. Please retry shortly.
- `503`: Service temporarily unavailable
- `504`: The request timed out
