# GET /schemas

`GET /schemas`

- `limit` integer

## Response `200`

A list of schemas.

- Schema[]
  - `subject` string, required: The name of the subject this schema belongs to.
  - `version` integer, required: The version of the schema under the subject.
  - `id` integer: The globally unique ID of the schema.
  - `schema` string, required: The actual schema definition as a string.
  - `schemaType` string: The type of the schema (AVRO, PROTOBUF, JSON). Default is AVRO.
  - `references` SchemaReference[]: A list of referenced schemas.
    - `name` string, required
    - `subject` string, required
    - `version` integer, required

## Other responses

- `500`: Error returned by the Schema Registry API
