# Search contracts

`GET /search/contracts`

## Request

Searches for artifacts that have contract metadata labels. Filters by status, owner team, and compatibility group.

## Query parameters

- `status` string
- `ownerTeam` string
- `compatibilityGroup` string
- `offset` integer
- `limit` integer
- `order` 'asc' | 'desc'
- `orderby` 'name' | 'createdOn' | 'modifiedOn'

## Response `200`

A paginated list of artifacts that have contract metadata.

- ArtifactSearchResults: Describes the response received when searching for artifacts.
  - `artifacts` SearchedArtifact[], required: The artifacts returned in the result set.
    - `name` string
    - `description` string
    - `createdOn` string, date-time, required
    - `owner` string, required
    - `artifactType` string, required
    - `modifiedOn` string, date-time, required
    - `modifiedBy` string, required
    - `groupId` string, required: An ID of a single artifact group.
    - `artifactId` string, required: The ID of a single artifact.
    - `labels` Labels: User-defined name-value pairs. Name and value must be strings.
  - `count` integer, required: The total number of artifacts that matched the query that produced the result set (may be more than the number of artifacts in the result set).

- `500`: Common response for all operations that can fail with an unexpected server error.
