# Get a specific tax definition.

`GET /taxes/v0-nsfw/tax-definitions/{id}`

Get a specific tax definition by its id.<br>You must have this scope: 'admin'.

  - `code` string, required: The code of the tax definition.
  - `propertyId` string, required: The id of the property this tax definition belongs to.
  - `name` object, required: The name of the tax definition, as displayed to guests on folio, invoice, etc.
  - `description` object, required: The description of the tax definition.
  - `classification` 'LocalTax' | 'ConsumptionTax', required: The classification of the tax definition.
  - `vatType` 'Null' | 'VeryReduced' | 'Reduced' | 'Normal' | 'Without' | 'Special' | 'Special1' | 'Special2' | 'ReducedCovid19' | 'NormalCovid19' | 'Mixed', required: The VAT type that applies to this tax definition. Set to 'Without' if no VAT applies.
  - `vatHandlingType` 'Excluded' | 'Included', required: Whether VAT is included in or excluded from calculated tax amount.
  - `applicability` TaxApplicabilityModel, required
    - `appliedTo` TaxApplicabilityScopeModel, required
      - `services` TaxableServiceFilterModel[], required: The list of service filters that determine which services this tax applies to.
        - `serviceType` 'Other' | 'Accommodation' | 'FoodAndBeverages' | 'CancellationFees' | 'NoShow', required: The type of service this filter applies to.
        - `subAccountIds` string[], nullable: The sub-account ids this filter is restricted to. A missing or null list means the filter applies regardless of the service's sub-account (equivalent to an empty list).
  - `calculationRules` TaxCalculationRuleModel[], required: Rules that define how the tax amount is calculated. Only one rule is considered for calculation based on the priority and filters.
    - `validityPeriod` ValidityPeriodModel
      - `from` string, date, nullable: The start date of the validity period. If not set, the rule is valid from the beginning of time.
      - `to` string, date, nullable: The end date of the validity period. If not set, the rule is valid indefinitely.
    - `stayDayIndexRange` DayIndexRangeModel
      - `from` integer, required: The zero-based start day index of the stay. For example, 0 means the first night.
      - `to` integer, nullable: The zero-based end day index of the stay (inclusive). If not set, the rule applies from 'From' onwards.
    - `priority` integer, required: The priority of this rule. In case of multiple rules match the conditions, the rule with the highest value of priority is considered.
    - `calculationKind` 'Percent' | 'FixedAmount', required: The kind of calculation.
    - `calculationBase` 'Net' | 'Gross', required: The tax base used for calculation.
    - `calculation` TaxCalculationModel, required
      - `type` 'PerService', required: The type of calculation.
      - `perService` PerServiceTaxCalculationModel
        - `value` number, double, required: The value of tax applied once per service (e.g. percentage or fixed amount depending on CalculationKind).

- `400`: Bad request.
- `401`: You are unauthorized.
- `403`: Forbidden.
- `404`: The Request-URI could not be found.
- `422`: Validation errors in the request body or query params.
- `499`: Client closed request.
- `500`: An unexpected error occurred.
- `503`: The server is currently unavailable. Please try later.
