# Deletes a folio.

`DELETE /finance/v1/folios/{id}`

Deletes a folio. This cannot be undone.
You can delete a folio only if it's not a main folio,
and the folio is empty (it has no charges, allowance, payments or pending payments).


Requires 'allowed action': Delete.<br>You must have this scope: 'folios.manage'.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `204`

Success.

- `400` — Bad request.
- `401` — You are unauthorized.
- `403` — Forbidden.
- `404` — The Request-URI could not be found.
- `422` — Validation errors in the request body or query params.
- `499` — Client closed request.
- `500` — An unexpected error occurred.
